This company's culture is totally different from the rest. Different depts simply don't get along with each other. Especially my dept manager whom I often get to see her in heated argument with counterparts. Lots of Taichi master here, my mediocre skills are far beyond being on par with them. No wonder after 30 odd years, this company is still facing similar problems, everyday. Fire-fighting is a temporary measure, where is the long term solution?
Anyway, Heraeus had bought over this business unit. Well, I'd just wish them all the best; in hope that the new mgmt will implement some changes for the better.
Heading back to AMD; work commencing 26 Aug '08.I'd be in the same dept as previous, just that my role had changed slightly. Now I'm more into Engineering improvement proj. Hope it ain't gonna be too tough for me. What if I can't cope? What if I can't meet my new boss's expectation? What if the mgmt (Ang Moh) request tons of improvement within a short time frame? *Worries worries*
Oh not forgetting those gossipers, they sure gonna probe why I leave in the first place and join back? What beefy story could they cook up for me man?
