Work work

Witnessed the first burn board in my life! Haa! My mentor was conducting a test on a faulty board and accidentally shorted two pins of an IC. Can't really blame him, the IC is way too small; the pins are located near to each other. I suggest people with shaky hands not to try this.

When the probe of the DMM (digital multimeter) touches the 3V and 0V pins, two mosfets just go boom! Sparks flew, and shortly after, a small fire ingnited. The smell is unbearable, burnt plastic, pukes! This stench lasted for a good 10mins in my room. Damn!

Anyway, good learning experience for me. I guess this is common in this field and there's more to come. Just hope the explosion or fire won't reach me. Lolx! Have abit of probia liaoz. Gotta keep a distant upon powering up any faulty equipments.

My colleague, Jason who joined this company together with me is having a hard time I guess. Nothing much for him to do, besides being a "postman" and handles some paperwork. The boredom is driving him nuts, I know you are hungry for technical work. Admin jobs simply isn't for us, engineers-to-be.

Chill pal, I believe, in time to come, your job scope will change or increase. Be more optimistic and wait patiently for Darren. He may have other plans installed for you. View things on the brighter side.

Haa! Look at me, consoling others when I can't handle my personal problems.
